hi there i have change my contact number so want to delet my old account i have seen some post in which the have said to use some commands in x-terminal
apt-get remove --purge yappari & /home/user/.config/scorpius/yappari.conf but they are not working permission denied....... is there any problem with my device or commands are wrong??? and is there any other way to change account????

Yappari asks you everytime you put in a new SIM card in the device.
Anyway, just move or delete yappari.conf with Yappari closed. When you open it, you will be able to register your new number.

what about end2end encryption support for Yappari? Like Threema or Telegram (I don't know those clients, but I read they got that).

I am shown as "Online" for others every time, even if i don't use yappari or smartphone is locker.

Never cared before to give any thought for this, but as I understand, "the whatsapp online functionality" from user point is to see when another person is using the app foreground. The thing what multitasking can do is irrelevant, when/if it is supposed to act differently. Well, matter of tastes I guess.

Thanks so much for Yappari. I just installed it on my N900 and it works perfectly.

My Jolla phone is on it's way, do you have any intention to port Yappari to Sailfish OS ?

When downloading files, after clicking on one, yappari jumps to next not-yet-downloaded-file in the conversation. When you have some messages without reading it is annoying. I think that it would be better to just let it there the focus so the user would have to move conversation by hand.

Hi bro... i'm having a problem when installing... everything goes fine, but i never get asked for my phone number... i get the "thanks for installing" message and then i just go to the "create chat" screen... and it never ask for my number... hope u can help me... thxs!!!!

Hi Scorpius,nice app.My yappari refuse to lunch ,whenever i click on the yappari logo in my phone ,it tries to lunch and later shut down it self.I have deleted my log file before hoping that this will fix it but it didn't work.What do u think i should do.I attach my log file to this post.Thanks

There has been a problem in my yappari. I am not able to download multimedia now. When I click on download, nothing happens, the download button is greyed and download won't start. Should I send a log for this?

Check if /home/user/.yappari/cache exists and is drwxr-xr-x (chmod 755).
But yeah, a log would be nice.

hello,
i have a simple question to ask
as i click create chat, the contacts list appears but i was wondering why do i have contacts with no name but phone numbers above them? Is this like a hack that identifies the people that added me to their contacts list but i haven't added them yet?
