Hi scorpius, tx for your *great* effort in keeping yappari up to date for all of us N900 users!

One suggestion: disablig auto-scrolling on new messages was a great idea, anyway I think it should scroll down when user sends its own messages. Do you agree? :)

Maybe in this particular use case you are right, anyway in my use cases the auto-scroll bothered me only when scrolling manually for old messages, but was good when sending new ones.
Now I have to scroll down always when typing and sending new messages. Just my user experience :)

Funny thing, for couriosity, i wacht my blocked contacs (didn´t have any), and a group appears (but i chat normal in that group), i unblocked and still chat normal, but was wierd,.

even if is not prioritary (wauth-2 hack first for new protocol) i want to report bug when i receive location from a user, the location shows correctly in the small map preview, but when i tap Go button, a webpage is opened in MicroB with google maps, but no exact coordinates in the url, lat and long always 0 and url is like:

https://maps.google.com/maps?q=loc:0,0+(<username of person who sent me the location is here>)

so the map doesnt show correct location and search for something related to the username

(btw in the log i can see the right lat and long values)

ps: if you like, can i suggest to use www.openstreetmap.org instead of gmaps?

You could reread the first post to look for the hidden folder, called .config in your folder /home/user folder. The dot is no typo, but essential for folders to be hidden in Linux. You need some filemanager like HamsterFiler, CutExplorer, or FileBox to look for those hidden files and folders in /home/user. Crippled HildonFileManager will not work.

@imo, you need to be a current user of the Java Whatsapp port. I don't think you need the dependencies there should be already installed on the phone, I put it there just in case.

Yappari is a native application (90% Qt, 10% GLIB) so you shouldn't need anything else.

1. what version of yappari you try to use? latest is 1.1.44
2. delete all yappari files, they are in /home/user/.config/scorpius and /home/user/.yappari

You're spamming and not reading.

Scorpius didn't tell you about logging in. He told you about send the log file ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logfile ).

You haven't read COMPLETELY the first post, as he asked you. And he hasn't time to give full attention to every person in this topic (he barely has time to improve Yappari...)

Share it to Scorpius. Better privately, and best if you edit it to ofuscate your and your contacts' mobile numbers. But that is more work and while you send it only to Scorpius is good.

yesterday i had installed ssu feature in my nokia n900 ...and now today just when i using yappari and downloading video from yappari its suddenly reboot and showing this warning(see atteched file) ...please help me ...what should i do now.... :confused:

This may be no file system error.

Please read the message carefully. It just states that your phone did not cleanly shut down.
There is a security mechanism to not load some crappy profile for the kernel- power settings. The message informs you about this, so you as a power user, that you are ;) , may have to rethink the profiles settings, or just load your settings , if you think the settings were not to blame for the unclean shutdown.
May be you were changing batteries to early during shutdown, or some i/o load forced a crash of the phone, or during charging the kernel crashed the phone (which mine does quite often...)

Please give some terminal output to evaluate

Upload the log file to a server, like mega, uploaded or whatever... Click on Scorpius nickname to go to his profile and then in "Contact Info". Send a private message with the link to download the log file.

hi scorpius,

everytime, i open my frnd chat box in yappari, it opens but suddenly yappari log-off... it shows in bottom that CONNECTION CLOSED BY SERVER instead of logged-in... and, after 5-10 sec it again logged-in.

then if i open another frnd chat box, the same happens..

i m using Yappari 1.1.44 Build 4531.

plz my dear frnd help me..
