Same problem that everybody else: your log has a line that makes Yappari crash who knows what that line is.

Delete the log file for group 595991750109-1412039252. Find it in /home/user/.yappari/logs

It should have .dblog extension or something.

Or just delete the whole logs folder if you are not sure.

Or just delete the whole .yappari folder if run out of ideas.

Thank you Scorpius! I tried following your advice. It worked, but only after deleting the whole .yappari directory. Now Yappari works great again.

I finished fixing all the Windows Phone/iPhone emojis.

It took me like 3 months...

So Yappari 1.1.50 should already hit the repositories by now. Also there's a bug found by CoDeRuS fixed.

Scorpius yo tuve un problema similar al de la pagina anterior que se cierra y en offline no cierra.

El problema era que me habían metido a un grupo y al cargar el yappri se crasheaba, tuve que pedir por otro medio que me saquen del grupo para que mi yappri funcione bien, luego me metieron de nuevo al grupo y funciono, en logs no veía nada raro (y pesaban mucho).

Te tiro la data por ahí te sirve.

From Monday, I am shifting my new Note III and I have one question to Scorpius. If I want register my number to Whatsapp using new phone, what are the correct steps to do that. I dont wanna block my number by whatsapp inc. Please help me....

Just use it, but don't go back using in N900 again. They block you if you change too often, but not for a change of mobile.

Just a quick question, sorry if it is answered before. Is it possible to copy all the chat logs to Android? My N900 Telephony functions are disabled which I think is a hardware issue. So was thinking of moving the Yappari account to my Android phone. Also I admin couple of groups which I created through Yappari will that still remain to my name? Thanks.

My Yappari closes down immediately after logging in. So that I can't see messages if it's logged in, I can only read messages if it's disconnected. Sometimes It don't even show new messages. I have tried reinstalling the application but that has not helped. No matter how many times I try to run Yappari, It always closes when 'logged in'

Please help me, I don't know what to do :(

I got two questions for you :p

1) is it normal I don't get any notification sound in Yappary? It happens since installation, over a year ago, anyway I do not care that much, just curious ;)

2) yesterday I used FrontView and I wondered if would be feasible to implement image uploading in Yappary just the way FrontView does it.. really smart way, imho

Use block instead of mute. Mute is to mute a current conversation. You can't mute a conversation you don't have open.

No. All that information is kept on whatsapp servers, not anywhere in Yappari itself or N900.
<at least that's how I understand it>

Also, Yappari does not have any command line interface, as far as I know

I normally use sqlite for that.

Code:

$ sqlite3 /home/user/.yappari/logs/<number>.dblog

sqlite> .output /home/user/MyDocs/<name>.txt

sqlite> select data from log;

sqlite> .exit

This should create a text file in MyDocs. Of course, I left out other details available in the database, such as a flag for who wrote the message, etc.

Just don't corrupt the database :)
Maybe it's safer to copy it somewhere else first.

Sorry guys,
suddenly I got a strange problem. My Yappari application is always crashing after logging in. If new pending messages are present, it downloads them and then crashes while keeping the icon in the status bar as active but not working if tapped. If I check Account Info I can read that Service Expiration is July 2nd 2015, Status is Active and Service Type is free. Now I wonder if I should pay Whatsapp to get service.

No, that won't happen. I'm not implementing any new features in Yappari, and it reaches EOL on December 31st, 2014. Also, the blue double tick is a WA 1.4 feature, and Yappari uses WA 1.2 (the old protocol).
