3vil I can't do anything, Whatsapp blocked the registration for unofficial clients and it has to be hacked it all over again to make it work... and that's a LOT of work.

for the n9 whatspp client they fixed this issue by setting the client string to "Symbian-2.6.61-443" (latest symbian version).
may this works for yappari too!? |

and i am getting another error sms was never receieved a for version 0.0.17 And I can't find my log file, because I can't find scorpius file? :/ |

hey scorpious.great work but unlike the previous versions, the sync feature is not working for me even after adding that sync=+1 to the config file.only one contact shows up when i click the create chat button.

If you want sync don't add any "sync" line in the config file!!! Adding that will disable it!
Contacts must have at least area code + phone number in your address book. @kurtyy: That string is not used in the registration process but in the login. Now Whatsapp is verifying the token, which was totally ignored before. We'd need to hack how the token is built, since it derives from the phone number and other data... and that's not easy. |

thank you again and again please can u explain how to disable sync coz i'm afraid to write anything wrong in the conf file and lose my beloved yappari i think sync every time i open yappari is spending too much MB before updating to version 17, i hadn,t that data consumption |

@whatsappneeder downgrade to 0.0.16 if you don't want to sync.

hey man i downloaded yappari and when it asked for my mobile no , i entered it and i was connected to the internet when it started to verify it .. but in the end .. after it finishes it says : the verification SMS was never received. please try later . so what should i do to fix it ?

i uninstalled yappari 0.17 and installed yappaari 0.16 .. then it shows me that there are too many regetrations please try later .. then i upgrade the 0.16 to 0.17 then ui get the same message (the verification SMS was never received. please try later )..

If you had read this thread you wouldn't be asking this question. Apparently Whatsapp does not allow any new registrations using Yappari. Meaning you're too late to the party. |

In short, WhatsApp server changed something about registration, yappari need update to support that.

I was working perfectly with version 0.0.15 Yappari. I started to try bluestacks (android software for pc). Record my phone number and function perfectly, when I went back to 0.0.15 Yappari inicar session showed me this message (Too many attemps registration. You shouldn't have used the same SIM with another Whatsapp software, now you can't register anymore (it's kinda your fault too). You de-registered Yappari when you logged in using Whatsapp in Android, now you won't be able to use Yappari ever again. @ everybody else: I don't know when (and IF) I can fix it. I have tried, but as you can imagine now registration is way more secure than before. Whatsapp doesn't want unofficial clients to be around (remember they charge $0.99 to iPhones and $1.99 to Androids after a year). It needs to be hacked. I don't even know if we can do it (and if we can't it would mean the end of this project). |

n900 doesnt have a big fan base for whatsapp although this thread took some fame. lets say 10,000 users, not enough to make a invest on a dieing operating system.
@Scorpius I currently have a working yappari, in case i flash the device how I can keep it working without registering n900 with whatsapp server. My second question is, is it safe to synchronize my contacts every now and then or will it block my account due to buggy synchronization? |
