My Yappari was already registered, but with version 0.0.20 I was able to change to android=true in .config/scorpius/yappari.conf and register again with Yappari itself.

I didn't have a problem with not receiving SMS, but the timer nearly did reach the end before it went through.

Yeah I raised the timer to 5 minutes (like original Whatsapp) for the next release, which has the ability to send smileys (50% implemented already).

Set user name may hit the next release, but detecting a deleted contact is not very easy so I'm not sure if I will fix that one for the next release.

Thanks scorpius for the hard work!

It works!
- I installed it in a new n900 phone and this was the behaviour:
- I installed version 20
- I entered phone number
- I received the sms from whatsapp with the code and the application closed.
- reopening the application always asked me to enter phone number to register and always ending with a message similar to "xx minutes from last registration tentative. Try later"
- then I realized I did not have the scorpius folder under /home/user/.config/ and no log file was created too
- I created the folder with mkdir and also echoed the android= true
- I rebooted and started again yappari
- I entered the phone number again
- I received another sms from whatsapp with another code
- yappari logged in and everything works fine!

man no one of my frnds can deliver my messages .. and i only get i check when i text them back but i registered successfully and delivered messages from them
so any help and i dont have the emotions thingy

Nobody has the "emoticons thingy" because I haven't released it yet. Maybe at the end of the week.

I don't really understand what you're saying but I guess it means that you don't appear in your friends' contact list so they can't select you to send messages?

What devices are your friends using? I think I have noticed that on Symbian...

I have an Android and Yappari contacts appear just fine.

well as for the double check thing .. it only appears when they respond to your first message it means and then the green double check appears .. and my friend is using Blackberry
and really thanks man im gonna study computer science and i hope ill be able to help further in this operation

Maybe you don't understand how WhatsApp works...

The double green check will appear when your friends read the messages. It could be days if they don't read them... I'm not sure how Whatsapp in Blackberry works, but if it's not running all the time then you'll never get the double green check until they start Whatsapp in their devices.

Scorpius, you are the best! Everything is working: Updating from 0.0.19 to 0.0.20 and Yappari is connecting. Fresh install on a N900 and Yappari can be registrated. Very well done. And again: You are the best!!!!!

Dear Scorpius,

I have installed yappari 0.20 version and when I try to register with my phone number, it doesn't work. Please help me. Do I need to change anything in the X-terminal. I am not familiar with the coding. Thank U once again. Please see the image..

What do you mean it doesn't work?

You have to try registration in about 5 hours. The screenshot just shows that you tried to register too many times the same day.

Features:

* You can send smileys now. They are SO MANY that it was a real pain to code.
* You can change the username. I don't really understand why you wanted this feature so much since nobody can see the username but iPhones (and most people should have Androids, not iPhones. Apple = evil).
* Registration timeout is 5 minutes now since it seems WhatsApp Inc is really struggling to register people out there.

thanks for this great app scorpius.

I found a little bug that my new conversation history wasn't saved.
This happen after I upgrade from 0.19 to 0.21.
Old history still saved but new conversation history just gone without trace everytime I close a conversation windows and open it again.

Is there any way to fix it?
