-another thing i saw is: im talking someone i write the text i press send then i close the window just cuz i want.. when it marks the 2 green arrows the windows pops up showing me the text i send and its 2 green marks like i dont care too much cuz it suppoused to be sometime 2 greens arrow.. i hope u understand my english :D
edit: this happend only if i close de window, if i minimize dont, i open the window and 2 arrows?? there u are :D

Google Translate does wonders to everybody's english.

A grey arrow means the message has not been send. (No connection)
One green arrow means it has been send to the Whatsapp servers.
Two green arrows mean the message has been delivered.

And I think they are actually calles Checkmarks ;)

I hope that is what you mean :)

Thank you, but I already implemented the LED notification using 100% native Maemo notifications. You'll see it in the next release. As I said before the only bad thing is that those kind of notifications can't have a custom icon. But I prefer that, than having a custom icon, creating tons of code to try to emulate a Maemo notification, blow the CPU to 90% CPU and not be able to stack notifications from the same sender.

Blame Maemo for being broken, and Nokia for not open ibhildon-plugins-notify-sv which is VERY VERY broken.

That's not really important... The ToDo list is in the first post and it'll be followed kinda exactly. Smileys will be implemented.

Remember this is alpha stage. Don't expect it to be complete until 1.0.0.

Phone numbers without prefix can be considered same prefix as me? I think it would be a good workaround. Only 4 contacts have prefix in my phonebook...

I can see where you got your nickname :) Modify your contacts don't be lazy. You'd have to do it in an Android phone or an iPhone.

+1. I also dislike whatsapp and thought I'd never use it, but Yappari, and the high-quality feeling that this thread and mainly its developer (Scorpius) has made me want to try it.

I still don't like whatsapp, but Yappari looks really good (and this is only the beginning), so when my family bugs me again about not being whatsapp'ed I'll at least have something I can throw at them :)

It is not lazy, as the official whatsapp client will do this as well.

I wouldn't want that :( Then I would have to use an older version of Yappari. I will only use clients that just send the mobiles I want. If the synchronization only sends the ones with international prefix, I can control it, but if it sends all of them... ouch :S

Also everybody who's reading this that still has a problem registering please do this. If you can do it through private messages it's even better (not everybody can, it depends on the number of the posts you have) because sometimes I miss one or two people in the thread with problems.

I checked the Log file, it said first that the application is not registered , i uninstalled and installed again now i can see in the Log that Registration is OK . but still reading ( connecting) not connected

When im using this app, and have like 3 chats.

The phone is very slow.

Somebody else got it?

I think I solved the problem .. if you are using online accounts .. skype, gtalk, etc. try to disable them, do not just go offline but disable each one, and yappari should work fine :)

I think because you used whatsapp java port sometimes the command java still running in the background even if whastapp was closed and sometimes browser is running in the background after closing it

so try
killall java
killall browser

I have used queen becon to create a widget each time I want to see who is online on whatsapp I use whatsapp java port then close it and click the widget to kill java running in the background

About the phone being slow I believe is a problem with the audio server and I think I fixed it in the current release I'm working on (0.0.10) using 100% native Maemo notifications.

Installed V0.0.9, but noticed that the yappari status box is no longer in the drop down bar on the regular screens.
It used to show the status of the connection for Yaparri , and was quite useful.

Has this feature been removed ?

i just simple create a msg to send to someone...and the people have nt receive any msg....and he try send any msg to me also cant...

what about the checkmarks? they go from gray to green and then double green?

phew!! was a task going thru all the posts but done that finally

great app..was must needed on this phone..been using the phone for 2.5 yrs and probably i can stall my plans to switch to samsung galaxy phone if this app is progressing the way it is :)

Hmm, when having 5 different chats open I still have around 9 to 10% cpu usage.
If you are refering to the group chats CPU usage (wich I haven't tested yet) then there is nothing to fix since group chats aren't implented.

I dont know if im the only one, when i have like 5 chats open. The phone become unuseable. Maemo asks me to close the app because it is not responding.
