N9 downgrade videoplayer to pr1.1 version
 

Because of the bad way N9'S videoplayer handles my old N8 videos I want to downgrade to the pr1.1 version. Atleast it played the videos with some small lag here and there. Now with pr1.2 it is not even possible. Just says cannot play file. Some guy somwhere told me that its possible to downgrade the player to the pr1.1 version.

Actually, I dont know what nokia did to the player except calling it a performancefeature or something....

Anyone who can help me? Im a noob....

Just use kmplayer with pr 1.2.

İnstall kmplayer and mplayer. Select mplayer on kmplayer it will be work.

tried that, but it plays the n8 videos in slowmotion....and its not an optimal solution....search in folders...remember date of the file etc etc too much hazzle just to show a simple clip. I have thousands....

Did you perhaps try the older mplayer version from https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_id=42?

Okay then I said nothing :), just wanted to make sure that you didn't take the one from 2011/10/01 but the 2012/04/27 build
