Hi Freemangordon,i think the largest problem that comes with new libglibs is than gps become unusable,I tried almost all libgilbs, but result it's the same,if someone is managed to wake up gps,let share it.

Please test if fixed leafpad works for you:

Sorry, still segfault at start with new libglib2. Stock libglib2 works with either leafpad.

Edit: I might even try debugging with new gdb (;)) later to find what's going on but not before about 9pm tonight due to family reasons.

Correct :(

But it segfaults on another place this time, seems leafpad is buggy as hell :(

main.c, on line 385, ifactory is uninitialized.

****, this become a leafpad support thread. Anyway, going to push a fixed version in the autobuilder

Bingo! That one works fine with new libglib.

Icidentally, isn't CSSU-Thumb based on CSSU-Testing? The way I interpret it is that Thumb is always one step behind Testing. Does this new libglib put it ahead of Testing? Not that I am complaining, quite the opposite. But I thought I'd make sure I am on the right track.

Well, there is no new metapackage in the repo, so this new glib is not "released" in a way :).

Yep, you got it right, -thumb is supposed to follow -testing. But cssu-testing maintainer is a bit busy for a couple of months, with no clean idea when he'll be available. So for some time -thumb will be ahead of -testing.

Seems like the maintainer is not interested anymore, so I guess I (or merlin1991) could promote to -stable bypassing the voting and quarantine.

Wouldn't it be better to promote to TESTING and follow the whole testing, voting and quarantine procedure and THEN promote to extras (so, in fact, adding you as the maintainer to enable pushing for you)? That would require only as much "playing God" as necessary ;)
