See if you had done a little reading (no need to be a developer) nobody would ever tell you off and this is not the first time I've seen people tell you off around here due to this reason...

I had cssu-thumb installed in my N900 , and when I updated the catalogs in app-manager I saw the new update to T-Maemo 6 .. I just updated to it and everything went ok and after rebooting I could see the version 1Tmaemo6 installed in my device , but with no thumb ... did that returned me to cssu-testing and just remove the thumb , or thumb was crashed ??
is there any effect on my device ??
can i roll back to thumb if the new update will be dangerous ??

Missing so much cssu-thumb and cant forget the memories with thumb. It alwys helped me by giving more power to my n900. It seems im loosing contol on my mind for thumb but its jst the thing that im missing very much.

Right now hildon-desktop in CSSU-testing has a minor regression(check on CSSU-testing thread), fix is committed on gitorious(thanks arcean), hopefully merlin1991 will push a new update soon. When it looks like there are no more bugs/regressions, I will push a new -thumb update.

Not to say that after all CSSU as a whole has priority over -thumb for me:

Thanks for thumb CSSU and especially big thanks for inclusion of the now very smooth Fennec 17.00

Never expected to see the day using Fennec as standard browser and enjoying the interface.

The N900 is more useful than ever and the price 2nd hand is sometimes only 1/10 of original :p

For fun I should do a performance 2010 vs 2012 benchmark with Fennec.

And I got my reality check: other devices within reach: N8, N808 PV, Galaxy Note 2. (Sold Pre 3 and N9)
Also an iPad (gifted) collecting dust as dictionary.

Wish-list for N900:

-inclusion of TOR client in CSSU. (like for example Excito is doing for their Linux server - NAS)

anyone else facing battery life shortage problem after updating to latest update (cssu testing one instead of thumb) which was i assume hildon desktop update ? After update hildon-desktop and hildon-satusmenu are constantly running and consuming about 3 percent (average) cpu in top. Any fix ?

i'm running CSSU-Thumb. about 2 weeks ago a update was released. when i updated to latest version and checked About Community SSU in settings it showed XXXTmaemo6 instead of XXXMaemo-Thumb4. after that update my phone's battery life is noticeably lower. Check THIS page of this same thread. and also freemangordon said he will push a update for CSSU-Thumb in two weeks if no problems found in latest update.

Is this repository open for packages other than just the selected bunch? Specifically, does Open Media Player qualify for inclusion? If so, what do I need to do? Also, as OMP gets updates from time to time, does it mean that I would have to bug someone to manually upload the Thumb version each time I make a release? And considering that, is it not a good idea after all?

autobuilder? which one? you need binutils >= 0.20 and (preferably) linaro gcc 4.7.2

@gidzzz - I am all for having extras-thumb, but you should ask merlin1991 for that, -thumb is hosted on his server

why i am unable to instaaled cssu file, its conflict with hildon manager and due to this i am unable to instal cssu community and feature. please help and suggest how i can deactivate hildon manager and its system and instal again cssu file.

the way i see it: you upload the package to autobuilder. first it's built as it's now - gcc 4.2 & etc. But after everything that's done now, we create one more target: we set up scratchbox with thumb toolchain and build for thumb (I think even without i386 when for thumb). If Reggie (or whoever who maintains extras) has nothing against, it could be temporarily stored on repository.maemo.org. And as soon as we migrate, we'll do the same as with normal extras-devel.

A new -testing is on it's way, if you upgrade, the correct -thumb packages will be pulled (as they are already in the repo). Or you can wait (hopefully till tomorrow) for the new -thumb to be released

Just updated.
It's working great.
Non-thumb compiled libssl was slow (100k/s in aircrack vs 150k/s in aircrack with thumb compiled libssl)
