Why is that? Took me a few minutes...

People looking at television for 10 minutes often waste more time of the items life. Plus, I got paid while doing it.

Of course I can, It's a matter what you know or believe you know. The end of bak'tun 13 is near. 1400 years a go this date was set in a stone in mexico. Mayans was great astronomos, if you look att the images in the temple of the cross you can see the milky way and the suns position 2012.

That is simply amazing. Now...

Mayans, have several calendars so the longest bak'tun is nothing special. every calender ends and that means you doing stuff incorrect and it time to change and improve.

This date means it time for something new and improve, not end of the world. So get out and improve the world!

I think this story comes from monument 6, that the only lead to 2012.

The rest was probably made up by some super trolls far later, probably at some forum just like this or new media somewhere :D

I just made that up from what I know about the mayans, from what I think I know :D No proof that this is right or wrong, People believes what they want to believe. That why its so great with a countdown that every one believes in.
