There was an announcement at Nokia Developer that changes/improvements would delay QA for Meego apps for two weeks, but that was 3-4 weeks ago I recall. Stoney silence from Nokia when I asked them a couple of days ago. :confused:

I had the same problem and I was very annoyed.

I have couple large IMAP accounts. I deleted the accounts, waited for a while to make sure the deletion is complete, restarted and added the account back.

Now my N9 email client is very smooth and I never get that error message.

I agree this client need a lot of improvements, but still this client is way better than iPhone and Android stock email clients. I don't think there is any other mobile IMAP client that handles attachments better than this. Email search works great as well.

The only annoying thing about this email client (as a matter of fact about the whole N9) is that it does not recognize emails deleted with other IMAP clients like Thunderbird. If that gets fixed in PR1.3, I will be happy.

It failed at first for me then i just re-installed and worked fine, but you may have to restart to see all the new features fully functioning.

Can we start a petition at change.org? Something that says get rid of this idiot and shows all the stats and industry experts and former employees, like a long reference list of facts and opinions that yes this is real and he is a trojan horse and he is killing the company.
This guy has caused a lot of harm to Finlands income, laid off thousands and put a screaching hault on development of what would have been a wonderful 3 prong strategy of growth of Meego plus Symbian and S40.
Sorry but I think the amount of harm he has done needs to get punished in some form.

No Nokia update has had ANY info about it shown until the release date! It will be released at some point this year.

Nokia cannot really skip this release as it has very probably:
- already done the work (began before 1.2 was released)
- has no plan for a subsequent PR (ok that's really a guess, but plausible)

am going with the guess of that its being delayed with the whole ACL thing going on, Nokia are waiting to be approached to consider then turn it down, or implement it in PR1.3
