PR1.3 is released today, link in NaviFirm+... Version 40.2012.21-7 for Brazil & LTA, but all languages in stock, you know it :)

Can someone explain the firmware image name scheme? Is the following file from Navifirm the generic file for 16gb N9s?

DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin

Maybe we don't know yet as there are only a handful of images on navifirm? Most of the file name is self explanatory but it's 'PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958' I don't understand.

There's heaps of threads/posts around which explain it all in detail, Nokia dev blog even outlined it in detail once IIRC.

Yep, the Nokia dev post you're now referencing is the one I was referring to.
Seems that Nokia dev article is referenced in the universal guide too.
Search for : "version numbering explained" ....

I think reflashing the phone before updating it will avoid software compatibility problems .

I'll try OTA first after uninstalling Faster N9 and Speedup Transitions mod (the only system mods I have installed). If that ends up being unstable/faulty then I still can do a reflash.
