Well, you are playing with it more than usual, aren't you? Those readings aren't necessarily indicative of the power consumption with PR 1.3.

I just update to PR1.3 on my 64GB black Finnish N9. So far I can't see much of a difference. It is a little sluggish right now (as was PR1.2 when I first installed it).

All of my apps are there and I don't see anything that is missing.

All of my N9Tweaks have been reset though I haven't had the chance to try tweaking them again.

I did the whole update OTA in about 35 minutes.

You mean the UI/apps opening time/scrolling down a large list of apps etc? :) Is the difference so notable compared to PR 1.2? Is it that buttery smooth? :D

There is probably decoder change, moving from one vendor to another. It was planned earlier.

Version 40.2012-21.3 also brings updates to Twitter (1.3.50+0m8), Nokia Store (3.24.010+0m8), Nokia Music (0.4.5-1+0m8), Nokia Link (0.1.2+0m8), Maps (4.2.55+0m8), Facebook (1.3.2+0m8), Drive (2.0.8+0m8), AccuWeather (1.0.19+0m8).

I have the OTA update notification on my phone right now, but I would rather wait for UK version to become available in Navifirm.... I want to clean install everything...

Hi, I had similar problems with Pr 1.1 and 1.2 - the updating process stopped at 90+%
I've just hardly rebooted the phone (pushed down the power button for 10-15seconds), waited for 1-2minutes and re-started the device.
It may took 2-3 reboots before the device starts normally with new pr

You're right, there's nothing new here

That's kinda the definition of fixes, they're often far from obvious.
It's not a feature-centric release, we've known that for yonks :)

just a quick report from me, i got the update for my 64gb black austrian variant 059J1V4 OTA just now, checked navifirm, but its not there yet for flashing for my version. It just booted up after updating, the only thing before updating was that i uninstalled fastern9 and homescreensettings. Apparently there is a Nokia link update for the phone itself (looks like to be teh installer thats copied over to the pc after connecting the phone to it). as of now it seems to work fine (2 mins test)

What were the versions in PR1.2?

The PR1.3 update itself went fine, but the application update notes weren't anywhere to be seen afterwards. /usr/bin/Facebook has date Feb 20, which would fit even PR1.2 release. It does claim the 1.3.2+0m8 version, though, but just trying to investigate a bit since I can't also see any difference in that app.

abun880007 2012-07-03 15:07

Re: The Epic N9 PR1.3 Discussion Thread!

PR 1.2 versions are Twitter (1.2.36+0m7), Nokia Store (3.20.009+0m7), Nokia Music (0.3.9-1+0m7), Nokia Link (0.1.12+0m7), Maps (4.2.55+0m7), Facebook (1.2.4+0m7), Drive (2.0.8+0m7), AccuWeather (1.0.17+0m8). , so it looks like the updated apps are in the PR 1.3 update, so you wont see them once you have updated

The changelog says "improvements"
So if there's nothing new, then it should say bugfixes

jalyst 2012-07-03 15:11

Re: The Epic N9 PR1.3 Discussion Thread!

Fair enough. My understanding of the word improvement could also mean only bug-fixes.
Still don't see how we should be getting the least bit shocked that there's almost no features.
