Anyone else have the screen black out during transitions? i.e. Moving from the application to the multitasking pane doesn't shoe the app slide, but the screen turns off then turns back on when you finish swiping.

Pretty major bug and I would not recommend upgrading from 1.2 unless this is the result of something like SwipeManager needing to update.

edit: Restoring settings fixes the problem, for now. Weird.

Another thing I noticed, but not really anything major. Cant look at reviews in nokia/ovi store anymore. Keeps loading forever, but nothing happens... Was like before or is it just me?

I noticed that Store problem before PR 1.3 relased.And i think it's a server issue.Nothing wrong about client.

I see a lot of new users on the active users here so just in case your not aware this is the same old shitt different day and device we had with the N900.

Dont expect much because there never is much only much dissapointment.

If you want something right then you all need to develop your own update so here is something you all need to know ok.....

Stskeeps has the meego source in full given to him by screwed up Nokia so how about you all make contact with him and see what can be done !, this is real advice i am giving you lot because you will only ever get dissapointment from the Nokia updates.

Yes I'm sure we all can agree on that:) After extensive 24 hour search by the community nobody seems to have found one single feature. So it is for sure a bug fix release which is pretty fine for me. My only problem is that my top 10 bugs are not solved.

The update wasn't showing up for me OTA (Malaysia variant in the UK) so i used the Nokia Suite Beta and it worked fine. Used the opportunity to clear out my phone and start fresh. Managed to get more space in the process. Went from 3.7GB free to 5.2GB free.

Overall things are more fluid and smoother. But no new features as far as i can tell.

Shame this might be the last official PR update.

I used to get this problem. Make sure the USB cable is connected in to a USB socket that's directly connected to the motherboard (ie. at the back of the tower/computer). If it's plugged in to a USB hub (ie. a USB port on the front of the computer) then you'll keep losing the connection

can someone help me?

i'm not new in flashing... i had a n900 before and flashed it a lot of times...
now i want the new pr1.3 on my n9 but it's not aviable for my black 16gb (malaysia)...

so i downloaded the flasher and the image for the cyan 16gb (malaysia) which should work or not?

but when i want to flash it nothing happens when the flasher is waiting for the n9 to be connected...
sometimes the n9 just boot when i connect usb and sometimes nothing happens...

i tried it on my netbook (win7 starter) and on an old laptop (winXP)
so whats wrong?

Still waiting inpationtly . Why do some unlocked phones without connection to operators have to wait several days and even weeks every single update.

It's something fishy how nokia handles this.

But then, sumsung have months between their ics updates for different areas :)

Losing your warranty?

It's hard for them to track that, just overclock the cpu and call it a day.

I overclocked it in pr1.2 and never noticed any difference in UI smoothness so left it at stock. It's a little different than with my N900 in which oc gave a huge boost overall.

I just upgraded to PR 1.3 and now the phone asks me to fill my passwords for the accounts I previously set. The problem is that the virtual keyboard is not displayed in this case (it does show up for SMS or IM, but not for setting accounts), I can't enter the passwords. I tried to copy/paste them from another application, which worked, but I have to do that after every reboot, which is annoying. Plus I'd like to solve this keyboard issue. Any idea?

the fastern9 thread already shows people using it with pr1.3 without any issues so far..its on active topics too...just do abit of reading before posting...

drop cache has not been reported but should not be an issue since its available in store it should be compatible...

if you havent received the OTA just flash it like so many others have already pointed out...

Anyone with the navifirm mind checking if the 059j239 singapore 64gb variant pr1.3 is available or not. I can't check my self as the navifirm does not work in mac, and if its there i will try to source a windows lappy and get the things done.
