oh you can express yourself...just ignore the two of them...read:

Re: N900 screen v N9 screen
There are other parameters too. N900 has a really dark screen but this is not a problem because it is transflective and N9 has one of the brightest AMOLED'S out there.
Also you may not be able to differentiate 56K colors but the difference is clearly visble in gradients. In general colors look better on the N950 (LCD) than on the N9 (the ones I have, there have been reports of variations) |

Re: N900 screen v N9 screen
By the substance of this thread, I am surprised most of you can read or write, as you are clearly blind. N9 screen sucks compared to N900. Only a blind person would say otherwise. iPhone has the best screen, hands down. They are selling their products just cause the screen resolution is beautiful. N900 was the only one to come close to iPhone

Do you comprehend what the definition of an opinion is? And to go even further you know that each person has different Cone cells, thus no one sees the same colours or in same clarity. Just because you see something one way doesn't mean that other person sees it exactly the same! I am not trying to argue that N9 has a better screen than N900 or Iphone. but colour wise i would pick N9 over them both |
Re: N900 screen v N9 screen
God damn, so heart broken!
Just watched some 720p supernatural, didn't work. Shockingly, n900 had a higher frame rate. Then I stepped down to just plain 480, and once again, I'm left wondering, is my phone broken? Is it normal that the N9 has difficulty with grey gradients, like brown hair on black background the screen seems to have huge artifacts of pure black? And then I tried watching Archer, an awesome new cartoon comedy, and the display murders it. The character's lines are extraordinarily jagged and pixels are quite obvious either side of them. Both these videos play perfectly on n900, 720p didn't really play nice with either of them. And could everyone please stop flaming? IReally did start this thread just to try and sort out the facts on the screen. So future people with keen eyes can read this and decide whether it's actually broken, or just born this way. THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE AN OPINIONATED THREAD. IF YOUR INPUT IS SUBJECTIVE, THIS IS NOT WHERE YOU SHOULD BE SHARING IT. OPINIONS ARE NOT VALID COUNTERS TO FACTS |

This has nothing to do with opinions. I gave you the link to someone who studies resolutions and who tells you that Pentile is shiiitteee. And you keep arguing non-sense, that somehow N9 screen is great. I will give you one thing. Perhaps you prefer N9 over other screens, Luckily you are a minority. Otherwise the company you run, on such inferior screens, would be soon out of business |
