aww, was just guessing that you were using nitdroid on your n9.
anyway, plug it in and start flasher so it says 'waiting for suitable device or some ****'. then try to turn the phone on a few times until it catches |

Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones
btw, the reason i suspected nitdroid is that the phone needs a small amount of power to even boot into charging mode. this is why harmattan shuts down with a considerable amount of juice left as a general rule. folks who use different OSes drain it to nothing, more or less, and then are unable to boot into charging mode.
ive personally done this by booting into ubiboot while at low power and leaving it to die. if nothing seems like its working, open it up and disconnect the battery, plug it in, wait a sec, and reconnect the battery. i also suggest ordering a replacement battery if the phones more than 8 months old. ....did you say THREE DAYS? |

How do i open the device to chaning battery |
Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones
first, get a TORX PLUS screw driver {t4 i think? look up the size}. then look up one of the videos about how to open up the phone on youtube.
i cant stress enough how important it is to use a TORX PLUS and NOT a regular torx. |
Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones
There's another way of getting it up and running described here:

Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones
that is, actually, the same way. ALSO note, that article recommends you actually flash it. you should in fact only do a load, that way you dont accidentally erase it when it gets to 11%
e.g.: flasher -l -k ubiboot-kernel -b |

Really bad by Nokia.

Dave, out of curiousity: how old is that battery?
