I can't fathom anything bigger than 4.
I love my phone to fit well in my hand and that I can operate with fingers on one hand only. IPhone 4S or lumia 620 form factors and size are perfect.

when I went from N9 to nexus 4 it was odd at first, but now the phone fits fine in my hand. I doubt it'd want anything as big as 5inches though. But I don't want something as small as the N9. I mean I have fat fingers and had enough of hitting the wrong keys on it.

Super-simple solution - resistive screens instead of crappy, useless capacitive. Then, even 3,5 '' screen is big enough.

Seriously though, 4 inches @ 1024x600 sounds like sweet spot. If we're keeping with sane touch technology - with capacitive, you need single pixels as big as your finger, to make it usable for anything real (no, browsing facebook and youtube isn't real enough...).

Probably. Sad to admit, but indeed my eyes haven't improved from reading TMO all these years on a 3,5" in the dark, searching for THE announcement. :rolleyes: 4" !!
