Bigger "Cell Level"-View for Car Calls
 

I have a wish to the experts: I use my N900 very often for calls during driving my car. I have a hands-free device and the N900 is fixed in a holder. I am sure, others use the N900 in this way, as well. Now my idea: It would be very nice, if there where the possibility, to see a much more bigger Cell Level on the call-screen. I think about something like this:

Is it possible, to integrate such a thing?

AFAIK, the call UI is closed source, so there is no way to add this directly. Might be possible using some DBus-triggered overlay, e.g. using the yellow notification bars.

the ui is closed piece as said na then is it possible to create a new gtk or qt call ui for the purpose?? Dosent matter how crappy it looks i want functionablity:
