September Gadget launch
September can be the best month in a long time where lots of new cool gadgets will be revealed. Better than Christmas according to me.
I just made a list and I can't afford all the tech. A Windows tablet 8 and galaxy note 2 is prioritize. What do you have your eyes on? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkp-x...e_gdata_player |

Re: September Gadget launch
I will be looking at the Galaxy Note2 and the Iphone 5 as one of them will eventually replace my N9 this fall, early or late :)
I'll need to see the root progress on gnote2 and if sixaxis controller app will work on it as gaming on it with a ps3 controller is one of the bigger reasons to buy it aling with the s-pen and using sketch book mobile on it. Dousan... |

NOTE 2.
We know so much about it (rumours). Not entirely moved, but I would like to be surprised. Balls in your fac-court Samsung. iPhone 5. It shapes the entire industry. Let's see what Apple's plan is for the next 12months, and we can also deduce how the competitors will react. A Windows 8 PRO device. Something that's an Ultrabook but better than my Toshiba. It should also fold back (like the Lenovo Yoga) or have a detachable keyboard. Needs to be 11in - 13in size. P.S. I would like a WindowsRT transforming tablet (for the extended battery life) but I think the gains are about 1 hour difference with the Wintel choices. And that they would be more limited (ports etc etc). And obviously don't have any backwards compatibility with billions of prior-code from Windows7/XP including games. So I rather pay a little more upfront, and keep those bonus features that will be handy in the future. PRO > RT |

Exactly! The old Nokia would take even a successful design and replace it either with a good or bad new one...That made Nokia unique but now its sticking to the formula of what was once successful will remain successful ala iPhone and Droids... In this rate the n8 design would have remained and we would have never got the n9...hopefully they are doing this only this once due to the dire straits Nokia is in and new, unique, innovative designs make their way again... |
Re: September Gadget launch
Not to sound like a fanboy but I like the build of the Nexus.
The front buttonless design is reminiscent of the N9. Its got a curved display which is ergonomic. The phone itself is thin, light and backcase removable. The only thing I would like more is a bezeless design, larger screen (5.2-5.5) and move the power button. If I could get complete control, I'd have dual Stereo Loudspeakers on the front (like HTC Arrive). Dual Microphone on both top and bottom sides (like Google's patent). Volume Rocker, App button and Camera button on right side (for quad shoulder pads). The camera would be located on the bottom side, it would be covered by a kickstand (like HTc HD7). Headset jack on the top near the power button. A microUSB and microHDMI on the bottom. Yeah, that's the dream that won't ever come true. |

The next Nemo OS release! (s/w wise speaking)
As for hardware talk... I wish the runors on a Symbian dual-core device (fall 2012) are true |

I read some month back that they (apple) started some development with lytro cameras. I don't know if it's true but if it is that would be pretty exiting. A focus less camera, where you focus where ever you want after the picture is taken. Link to lytro: https://www.lytro.com/mobile/camera The Nokia devices yesterday didn't really bring up any wow effect and the app store is still to far behind when comming to casual gaming and such. The 920 is to close to N9/L800/L900 and they're kind of doing a HTC on the design side, though the 820 differs a bit. Dousan... |
