Why sould anybody switch to windows phone when you have a n900 or a n9?(I would really love to have a n9 with my n900 :p)
My brother bought an htc with wp8 (he doesn't care about apps etc. and he doesn't know much about computers :p) but after checking his phone I found that wp is just a piece of crap.... With android/maemo/meego you can do many things with your phone, even with iOS you are able to do some things but wp is so f*cked up. The only nice thing about Lumia and every wp is the specs(some times) and the design that makes you want to buy it. |

Well about the KB it is not that a big deal... virtual keyboard is good enough as well, you just have to get in used with it... I didn't like on n900 that it was always on landscape but after 2-3 days I got used to it and I found how nice phone it is ;) |
Re: Who will switch to LUMIA 920, or consider buying it?
Even though I HATE the fact WP has 3 buttons (button free design is so good on n9), AND that WP is closed source, i may get the upcoming pureview device, solely for the camera

Also, the OS (WP) is not okay for a camera phone, not even Android (missing the 2step camera button). A phone with a camera like that should come with a dedicated OS, mostly for pictures. If they build such a phone @ reasonable price, I will buy it. |

I even saw some pictures taken with it, and I am sorry to say this, but they are just average... |

But I saw some pics taken with the EOS on Facebook, and they looked just average. Windows Phone will never be a good OS for CAMERA PHONES, the camera software is just so... average. I even bought a professional app for pictures but still... the quality is average, nothing special... I think the 808 is much better because on Symbian the image pre and post processing was better (had a Sony U5 HD, and yes, that phone's camera was special, and it was running on Symbian). But before I can really compare them, I would really love to play on both of them (I didn't see the 808 in my town in any retail shop...). |

Some Of the 1020 pics don't look as good as they should imo, may have to do with the fact it doesn't have a dedicated chip for processing the images

Re: Who will switch to LUMIA 920, or consider buying it?
After struggling with my A-GPS (died and haven't been able to get it back after phone died in power-save mode) and a tracker bug (got 3-4 SMS in rapid succession, then no SMS showed up. After restart all camera pics not showing up in gallery) over the last week, I am pretty pissed off at my N9. Patients for a Jolla is dwindling. iPhone 5S likely due this fall too. Checked out a friend's 1020 yesterday, it has the sleek N9 design, big screen, and the camera. Specs seem good. Big, but I think the hardware is nice. But Windows Phone and those stupid tiles. Not sure I can do it! Friend says he wants to put Sailfish on it, that seems like it could be quite a feat.
