n900 auto login not working, never did?
 

when i i login to this site (and another) im logged in as normal but then when i come back to this site later im logged out again.

this is a new n900 freshly flashed with uk firmware. this didnt happen on my last two n900s.

ive tried deleting all save data and starting fresh but that didnt work. cookies are set to always.

anyone have an idea why its doing this?

it was a chinese bought n900 (meant to be new but seems a refurb) chinese firmware was on it but flashed like i said. just wondering if theres a possiblity theres any dodgy software on it still even after a flash?
had to login here to post this and ive never had to do that on either of my uk bought n900s. cookies are enabled etc. can someone please put my mind at rest or is there at least a command to see if theres any dodgey software on the phone. noticed rootsh was installed on the phone as default. :(

did you do a full reflash? firmware and emmc?

no. not emmc. do you think there could be nasties on there? doesnt seem to be.
