I did a mess uninstalling some mods, then when I reboot, my phone didn't start up. It's stuck on start up showing nokia logo. I installed the Unrestricted System UI & some other mods. I have installed flasher & tried this as found on this forum:
cd c:/program files/nokia/flasher
flasher --enable-rd-mode --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset
flasher --disable-rd-mode

I did it right, but after that, phone showed the exact same thing on start up, showing nokia logo forever. I'm a rookie, I should have been more careful. Now please please help me. I don't know what to do. I'm attaching the image that my phone shows on start up. PLEASE help me, I'm so helpless w/o my phone :'(

after enabling rd mode why do you disable it?

enable it, let it boot, re-install system-ui then disable rd mode...

On your PC in run cmd as admin:
cd c:/program files/nokia/flasher
flasher --enable-rd-mode --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset

Now try booting up...Does it boot up?


Edit: I agree the phone is essential but why does everyone who has issues suddenly become so downcast and say they feel helpless w/o their phone? Its as if you depend on the phone to live...Common its only a piece of tech for you to use/abuse...


Edit 2: Out of curiosity how do you manage to swipe with that screen protector? Doesn't it cut your thumb/finger when you swipe?:eek:

with R&D mode, this is what I'm getting :S if I press ok, this screen comes back, now what?

then it means you have to reflash your device unless you already are in open mode and want to attempt to fix malf state...

the latter option is not recommended if you don't know what you are doing...

will update via nokia sw updater work? it says it's downloading update for n9, will it flash properly? or i don't have any other way but rmanual reflash?

it should work with sw updater...
