i think i read that they're going to open source some of their code to allow others to create a new service. personally, i'd rather just have a small, web accessible nas setup at home.

N9 had good clients of ubuntu one
Is it possible to change from ubunyu one to some other cloud service!

toBuntu was great for me not for backing up data but for quickly uploading and sharing my files from my n900 online. Do you have plans for codeweaving another cloud service client?
