Re: Lost "open in new window" after last upgrade
Nope, I never installed microB
Here is what I get when I hold the stylus on an image (typed exactly as i see it): Save as.. Load image webamecopyimglocation (yep it says that) ------------ Zoom > Navigation > ------------ Details Help Here is what I get when I click and hold on a link: Open link Add link to Bookmarks... Copy link location ------------ Zoom > Navigation > ------------ Details Help And quite a bit when I close the browser I get this error "Internal error. Application 'Web' closed. |
Re: Lost "open in new window" after last upgrade
You could try installing microB, maybe thats why mine works? Not really sure?

Re: Lost "open in new window" after last upgrade
I could restore the previous "open in new window" functionality in the opera engine by editing /home/user/.browser and setting:
Enable_PopUp_Windows=1 Not functioning on every link! (try by yourself)... I have to experiment a little. Maybe only links with target attribute? For instance, links on google.com home page have a new window option, while those on this forum don't. Not functioning on mozilla engine, though. |
Re: Lost "open in new window" after last upgrade
All that does is change the setting in
Settings > General > Enable pop-up windows: always Mine was set previously to "Only Requested", but changing it back to always does not give me back my "click and hold" menu option to open a link in a new window. Here is the contents of my .browser file. [Settings] First_Start=false Full_Screen=true Norm_Screen=true Optim_View=false Merge_Frames=false Global_Ltd_Js=false Google_Ltd_Js=false Find_Toolbar=false JS_Stoped_By_Low_Mem=true Dirty_State=false Enable_PopUp_Windows=1 Load_Pref=false Image_Policy=3 Saveas_Location=file:///home/user/MyDocs/.sounds EDIT: Just saw your post in at the bug site |
Re: Lost "open in new window" after last upgrade
After updating to microb-browser 0.0.8-3 ths morning, the bug is still there.
Some links allow opening in another page, some don't. See for instance my hompage at http://www.debernardis.it The very first link in that page (abilitazione) gets no "open in a new window" menu item, while the second link (BLog di Ernesto) gets the option. Both have a "target" modificator in their html code. |
