Just checked my Nokia maps in my N8.
Current map version is 0.2.43.11
Now updating my maps to latest version 00.02.45.12 (just like my N9).
Release date of this version was 23 Oct 2012...

* Version 0.2.45.12: release date 23 Oct 2012.

Maybe the downgrade was necessary because the May 2012 version is not stable enough?

Just for those who haven't checked their updates, there is a map data update to version 0.2.47.103... Its on WP and Symbian too...

Leaves one wondering what it is they update. A local road which is GONE for more than two years is still on the map. And whereas someone updated the openstreetmap of a nearby intersection which has changed half a year ago, even before the new intersection opened, Nokia Maps still reports the old situation.

At least here in the Netherlands OSM often is far superior to all the commercial variants. Really a shame Nokia doesn't use an open format for their maps. I'd love to use Nokia Maps with OSM data.

For me, after the update completes and I check for updates again, the same maps are offered for update again.

So I gather nothing has actually happened in the whole process.

I personally deleted all my maps as there were many countries for which i didn't need them, added those maps i needed and they were all of the new version, of course during adding maps it re-downloaded them...

E: The updated version should be v0.2.47.103; check it from About ;)

how to get the updated package? what's the package version, as showed in application manager (mine is 4.2.55+0m8)
