Yes, that is what I have done. :) I doubt demand will outstrip supply, but if it does, that just means they can solve any manufacturing defects before I get my device. :) I don't care about some fancy back cover or t-shirt (probably some el-cheapo thing made using slave labour).

Well, as long as you're showing some kind of support! One of these days the charging port on your N900 will break and you might find that your only options are iOS, Android of Windows Phone.

The Jolla device isn't perfect, but I can put up with some limitations if it means a true Linux-based device can have a future.

Pre-ordered the "Jolla Limited Edition + T-shirt" (EUR 40). From Brazil to show that we brazilians want real Linux mobile devices and support Jolla.

I hope to keep contributing as maintainer of Mer/Nemo/Sailfish OS packages and also developer of some softwares.

Considering Jolla phone is in it I'd guess >399 euro for that package

Still not warm up to the design, and the vague shipping date is a concern....
Still, I ordered the $40 package and will be working on bringing my app over while waiting.

Was hoping for a SDK update witg device announcemennt....

The Phone looks strange enough for me to buy it :) But what about the spec? I can't understand how people can buy it without a spec what so ever...

The price is quite OK but again, what are you paying for?

i'm sceptical about the spec (or lack thereof) as well; My N9 feels sluggish a lot of times, the Jollaphone being half as sluggish wouldn't be enough for me, i want it quarter as slow at least =D

Will probably preorder anyway =)

You guys forget HOW slow the N9 CPU is.

It's based on a Cortex A8. And it's a single core clocked at 1 GHZ.

A Cortex A9 at 1,2 Ghz would be already about twice as fast. Now imagine it being a dual core at 1,5Ghz. And this would be already a slow CPU by the end of 2013. Now imagine it being based on a Cortex A15 or a Silvermont Atom dual core CPU......

Hey there,

i have a little problem with preorder.

I want to preorder the 100€ package.

I checked the box "Accept sale terms and conditions"
Then i clicked on checkout.
I saw all possibilites to pay my order, but i skipped this page.

Then I go back to my profile and I see my order, status: Waiting payment
I haven't payed the product yet.

But there is no Button to get the payment possibilities, like Paypal, back.

Then I maked the same procedure, without clicking a payment possibility.
Now i have two orders with the status "Waiting payment" and no chance to pay one of them and delete the other one.

the other half is included or not? by default it should be there right? they have mentioned "exclusive" other half included with 100 Euro package.

"an exclusive pre-order limited edition Other Half" sounds to be something exciting like a keyboard or charger backcover. The standard might be just a color you pick. For sure you will get a backcover with it, at least a black one... ordered so it is "n900 -> N9 -> other Half" for me :)

After skipping the N9 generation, I'm back in with Jolla! Already got my preorder for Jolla limited edition + Other Half. Now let's wait for more detailed specs!

Offtopic: I've been away for a looong time, so it was a surprise to see TMO has actually adopted a nice, little lumia troll! Adorable :)

I posted this on "Will you buy Jolla phone?" thread. But then I remembered about this thread, so here it goes:
Dudes, I don't know whether this was already commented, but the description for pre-orders at http://join.jolla.com has changed. Especially for 100€ choice, there is NO MENTION of the OH, except in the title (I think they have not changed, but they will). Maybe the limited time period already expired? I wonder if Dave got his pre-order placed.
