Facebook problems - new
I have done a search, can find no recent reports similar to this.
For some weeks I have been getting a warning notice when logging on to F/b, telling me that my browser is "out of date", "could cause security issues" etc. I have been just ignoring message & logging on with no further issues. Now, for the last two days, when I logon to f/b I just get a "simplified" interface, with no pictures, impossible to do anything useful with it. I am using the stock browser, with & without "hide user agent" set to Mozilla/5.0 (X11:Linux armv7l;rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1. Is anyone else here seeing this problem? Anyone have a fix for it? Prefer to use stock browser (don't like "apps") with "Hide User Agent" solution if possible. |

Have a look in the address bar. If it says "m.facebook.com" then you're being redirected to the mobile site. Been happening for ages now.
I used to use the desktop version in MicroB. Just seems to have lost that ability. |

Have you ever changed the user.js file?

Seems to have miraculously 'cured' itself, at least, for now. :):):)
