Hi I was trying to install modRana but had same issue using "app mgr" and command line. Glad to see others have noticed and hope something comes out soon.

After the update back old problem with bluetooth.
Can not open the windows control bluetooth device in win 7, it opens and disappears.
Previously and so was a problem with uploading the files from the computer to the N900 and from N900 to the computer, which was also associated with updating obexd.
It was not possible to upload files from the computer to the N900 and from N900 to a laptop (Win 7 64). From the computer, I could not enter to the phone.

I reinstalled Broadcom Bluetooth Software on my laptop and now opens a window control-device bluetooth, but still can not be the files transferred to the N900 and from N900 to the computer. From the computer, I could not enter to the phone. Error establishing the connection.

I have this problem too .. when I try to install any app using : apt-get install > it says :( unable to connect to repository... )

for me almost no repository works today. ony ssu apps, ssu mr0, and fremantle apps. What's going on?

I wonder why skeiron.org gives an error; really I've tried it many times and it works well except for in the logs to have a minor line saying about bzip but it updates fine and apps install fine too...

If it isn't working for you then you have somehow managed to mangle your gpg key or not added the repo correctly...


In worst-case scenario like its been mentioned multiple times just go and navigate using a web browser to the URL to get whatever packages/dependencies required...

repository.maemo.org is down, meaning no extras, extras-testing or extra-devel repos. Therefore no applications to install. May be Ovi might still work?
You could enable some temporary repos from the list in this thread http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...83&postcount=1 for maemo.
