Linux on a usb stick. Seriously. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble. Just like you'd save a lot of trouble using windows for your Lumia Proto. It's not a matter of preference, but a matter of compatibility.

Most Linux phones require drivers to work under windows, which come either from the device's mass storage, a cd, or windows update. As this thing is unreleased you may not be able to find drivers that work for it. Maybe the N9 drivers will work but maybe not, and I wouldn't risk it. You can try installing Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver for it.

When I have installed Flasher application for windows XP, Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver is installed in at the end of setup.

But not work !!! :(

you no need to install it. you can boot it from CD-ROM or use virtual machine on winXP. live boot is recommended better I think.

I download UNetbootin for Windows.

I have installed Ubuntu Live 12.04.1 on 8GB USB key.

I have boot with my USB key but nothing... I already choose this key to boot at first place/position.

What can I do now?

does your PC support booting from USB? must be st in BIOS. anyway, why don't you burn a CD image to CD and boot live image without installation from CD?

I don't have DVD/CD recordable with me.
USB key can work.
Yes I have a Maximus IV Extreme Motherboard :)
I will reset the booting order and retry.
