Re: strange downloading problem
That sounds really strange. Reading your first post I assume it always showing that behaviour?
If so, my next step would be the thumbs2 thread. http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=84829 |

Re: strange downloading problem
You might be right!
Well, if you're not afraid of the terminal, you could try to purge and reinstall browserd and see if there is something wrong with that, that could be solved by a reinstall. Haven't done it for a while but the "normal" procedure would be something along the line of Code:
apt-get install --reinstall osso-browserdCode:
apt-cache search browser | grep osso |
Re: strange downloading problem
it gives me lots of package names. i havent got a clue lol. can someome give me the exact command please.

Re: strange downloading problem
Crail,
If you used | grep osso the amount of files should be limited. There are probably language files in that list as well. Look for the application descriptor. It should be there. Coming to think of it, I am not even sure if it is possible for the browserd application. I fixed a friends osso-rss app with this method. |
Re: strange downloading problem
did that but it didnt change anything :(

Re: strange downloading problem
right it doesn't do it on 3g so ive narrowed it to my wifi router, which was messed around with a couple of weeks ago. (locking some mac address's out) my mrs did it and i haven't got a clue about routers.
