Seems like the Jolla folks are processing the replies to the Invites now, I just got a response to my mail telling them that I can't make it. Still no info about finishing the payment online, but it says they will send that out "soon" :)

Payment details must be mailed any day because jolla will start ship 28 and payment must be complete transaction before that according to orderdate.

why not send payment instructions now so the top ones in queue have time to pay. Vaccstions, work, low money flow or what ever can make them lose thei spot.

jolla should give free shipping cost for all beta testeters.or at leasr send a betatester hat.

I received an invite for the launch party today, with an RSVP deadline of 21 November, so we'll probably have to wait until at least that date before they'll request payment details.

As others have said, have a little patience :).

I have lots of unreasnable requests :) but This one is not about patience. Its about fairness. Why wait a few days before shipping date when they had months. People can miss payment for what ever reason for no reason. Just saying. It bad mkey.

Received information how to order the free beanie (pipo). I joined the second preorder (100€) campaign collaborated with Finnish Carrier DNA this fall.

What happend with USB host/otg? Also removed or was never there or was there and hidden from spec but I hope it's right there? Confirm....denied. I can't trust the spec anymore since it is not complete.

Narinkkatori. Square between Kamppi shopping center and old bus station (yellow, long and old building). Narinkkatori was the place from where local busses departed ten years ago but now they depart from the underground of Kamppi shopping center.

I would not be surprised if Jolla and DNA will broadcast the event to Internet.

This is the nearest but unfortunately it is on the wrong side of the old bus station building:

Long distance busses used to depart from that square in webcam. You can barely see the old bus station on the left. Narinkkatori is behind it.

How long is this beta period jolla mentioned?

ububtu edge had some ideas as supporters would have a vote of for feature or design desisions for a sequel. I loved that idea very much even if it only was a dream. Would jolla consider asking preorder for sum input would be cool. Maybe add a poll att jolla com after login gor evreyone who complete payment in campaign 1 and 2.

@tissot, that's the way I read it. Also, the implication of the colours being made known next week, is that pre-ordering will start then too.

As regards the 0euro option, I'm not sure: the 40 & 100 euro pre-orders had a priority, which the 0 euro option did not.

I´d say they start to ship the devices on the 28th in the order of the pre-orders were made and after they have the knowlegde of who already got their device in the launch event.

No, this has been discussed before in this thread. 0€ orders will be dealt with "soon after", "stay tuned".

EDIT: Also, it appears that for 0€ "orders" you need to be in a supported country anyway. Basically, they'll let you know when the product is on sale and if you get it from your country, then good for you; otherwise wait or import.

Has anybody heard anything about data migration strategies? For example, how do I migrate all my contacts, calendars, etc. from the N9 to the Jolla? Or will I have to find out myself? Uploading all your personal life to google/apple/m$/etc. doesn't count of course.
