Sorry for my bad english.

Meant that the phone supports horizontal use only in camera mode (according to that mini-review).

One of the articles in HS also says that Jolla has raised their target to 1M sold phones during one year.

And that's blatantly false, Pienimäki (Jolla's CEO) said that their goal was to get 1 million devices with SailfishOS in the market next year, not necessarily made by them (Jolla).

erm... if my memory doesn't fail, the Jolla video suggests that in the photo galery you can switch to horizontal mode. Maybe it doesn't support horizontal mode in the same way the N9 doesn't [out of the box], in places like home/launcher/etc.? Anyway, further reviews will make it clearer. The most worrying point in that review is that the browser is buggy.

Yes, seems so. Article says that Jolla has raised target for their first phone, but then also quotes Pienimäki correctly (1M phones with Jolla's Sailfish OS).

It should be a codename of the release, named after one of the (many) Finnish lakes. Mentioned here when it talks about updates in the Store section.

Lake as explained above. According to Google maps its an obscure little lake in eastern Finland. Never heard of it before.

'Kaaja's pond' would be a direct translation.

There will be no next jPhone. The only doable scenario is that some manufacturer from the league of ZTE, Huawei, Lenovo will license the SailfishOS from Jolla and develop "Le jPhone".

I've just started absorbing all the Q&A's @TMO/elsewhere & so far; the stock OS/Sw is looking every bit as good as I'd hoped, but, I still doubt that's enough.

That launch video has gotten over 120k views in 24h. Not bad.

Also noticed while rewatching it that there's a packet of swedish snus in it. Technicly its an illegal substance in Finland ;)

Haven't heard anything about JoikuSpot after Hurmola's mention. The whole android drivers through libhybris thing might put a wrench on the wi-fi sharing. Well have to wait and see, Wi-Fi sharing probably was one of the many things they didn't have time to do for 1st firmware.

Did you also notice, in the video, that there are some jelly beans, which someone tries to grab, but they are prevented from taking them! And a donut also lands in the cup of coffee.
