Why an app when they should be integrated as services in every app's share to menu or directly in the gallery?

- currency converter (implement the calculator???)
- flashlight
- scientist calculator with Measuring unit converter
- Koffice or openoffice

- an good radio player
- an countdown application
- an better picture viewer (not like the stock Nokia or jolla one)

easy ways to be able to create plugins and integrate social services into there system without having to wait for updates from them. Maybe am thinking theyll be like Nokia too much. So for example we can add our own social network to the "event feed"

I've had a quick look through this post and can't see many requests for a top-notch Maps and Drive app. These are what keep me with my N9 and Symbian devices. I care little for other platforms' GPS apps.

Does anyone know yet what Jolla's plans are for mapping? What are the chances of Nokia licensing Maps/Drive to Jolla? Here maps is basically available on any WP device (Nokia or not) so why not?

+1 for that! I found reading books on the N9 was quite pleasant. White text on black background, which is ideal for in bed as well. But OLED is required for this application, to keep energy consumption down.
