Re: Porting Sailfish to N9 (or other)

hey guys,

I am toying with the idea of putting sailfish on my N9 and just have a few questions... (don't know if this is the right place to ask tough)

I was going over the instructions and found out that one needs to repartition the N9 (There is no way around that I suppose?)

Is there an easy way to get rid of that extra partition without flashing and starting from scratch in case I want to remove sailfish?

Further more I get a partitioning error from moslo but I guess I just have to free up more space on MyDocs (how much needs to be free?)

I appreciate your help!

No

I get that error aswell, but in my case, it seems to have done the job after a second run. Not sure why a second run is needed.

I appreciate your help!

I think most of your questions have been answered before, in multiple threads

Thanks for that answers!

I still wonder tough if it is not possible to remove the partition and expand MyDocs with gparted or some other disk utility....

Yes, there is a good guide here

I did on one of mine, and it works. But pay attention to instruction details if you try

connect cable before ubiboot loaded and do what you want with partitions

Just one question

my MyDocs partition is formated with ext4
Is that going to be a problem?

afaik, there's only one thing – connecting ur phone to windows computers in mass storage mode (since windows doesn't work with ext filesystems).

Just for fun,

Do you guys think that it's possible to repartition my N9 manually (with gparted or somthing) and just skip the moslo part of the install instructions?

I still get that repartition error and I guess it's due to my MyDocs partition being formated with ext4
