Less than on automatic partitioning, really, as you can tune the partitions to your own needs; for example I have 7 partitions on my device. |

Re: Porting Sailfish to N9 (or other)
Decompress the archive with command:
tar -xvf ubiboot_035_sailfishos.tar -C / The result is 4 files: - /home/user/MyDocs/boot/ubiboot.conf - /home/user/MyDocs/boot/ubiboot-02.035_SF_v1.cpio - /boot/zImage_2.6.32.54-openmode_l2fix - /sbin/preinit_harmattan The ubiboot.conf, can it boot other Os or that's for Sailfish and harmttan alone |

Nothing prevents you to modify that to boot other OS'es, of course. Usually it is just easier to install the full version as it has the CPIO containing icon pack for other OS'es. (however, you can also compile your own CPIO and use it with your current installation, that way it will be "upgraded" to full ubiboot...) |
Re: Porting Sailfish to N9 (or other)
how can I return to closed mode and have MeeGo only ??
(how to flash original kernel ??) |
Re: Porting Sailfish to N9 (or other)

If so, then just do a clean flash and you are done: sudo flasher -f -F firmware.bin -F emmc.bin -R ---- edit ---- Of course this clears all your installed stuff from the device, just forgot to say. |
