If you let me, I'm in :) and also my Persian friends. Except of one or two of us, others don't know anything about kernel compiling and linux file system :o :p, but we can test in the way you guide us ;)

ouchh! it truly hurts! will this be the end of my n9! will i spend extra $200 to fix her display! Nope i rather move on. it first started with shattered glass when first fell face down, now inner screen affected when fell off again! RiP N9!!! i'll miss MeeGo i'll miss the great community backing her i'll miss coderus @_@ miss Y'aLL

Hi,,
I compiled the kernel 3.5.3-MAX with gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-4.8-2013.10_linux.tar.xz. But it seems failed.

detail process:

#cp arm/arm/configs/arm581_defconfig .config
#make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabihf- zImage

then, the terminal promote many configuration need me to check.
So, i think there must have some problem of this compile process.

hahha, my friend, the point is there are some errors in the include and .c files if you are developer you might be able to fix them
I solved quiet a lot of them then I uploaded my works for you guys to contribute

You can get a used N9 for about $150, which is cheaper than getting the entire phone's screen replaced.

Its out of topic but u can get a full new screen replacement with the right tools on ebay for around 50 dollars, ur (Yemco) N9 must survive lol :p
