It might not be more open but it's defiantly more open. Openness can mean so much!

It's quite possible that the source article was very misleading, still waiting to get some clarification from Jolla.

It's not like why all that ended-up happening hasn't been carefully explained in great detail many times before.

its VERY misleading IMHO.

Hi guys, i know people are working on an n9 port, so thank you so much…just a side question..will there be an easy0to install "press a button" package that developers can charge for…Im not code/tech savvy, and don't understand a lot of jargon being used in this thread. I would pay for an easy to install package...

Thanks…Im on a Mac..so I don't really understand how to do all that code stuff….thats why I'd be willing to pay for an app that would release the entire OS kind of deal ---(kind of like Jailbreakme did for iPhone iOS 5.x or whatever

Can this be packaged into a single image to avoid all the steps?

Just finished installing all the jStuff.

Swipe areas are rotated on the N9, weirdly. Also, I can't press to connect to a WiFi network - it can scan and see them, but the UI is broken somehow. Oh, and no audio and haptics.

The shutdown animation is also rotated and stretched - I think it is because of the native display panel rotation on the N9/50.

Anyone fixed these yet? I've tried installing the -config packages and still, no dice.
