Its not ready for every day use.

Camera, proximty sensor not working, you cant do voicecalls because of proximty issue. In vgrade image sound not working also.

I just checked, the speed was about 1Mb \ s, at home I have not a very good internet connection and this is the limit for him. So everything should be fine ...

After I tried the first time I went and re-downloaded it. Got the full thing done in about 7 minutes :)

Is there any full comprehensive tutorial for the installation? I only got my N9 a couple months back and I don't want to screw it up.

The kernels you mentioned here, where would i find these? Ill double check ubiboot wiki in the mean time

I managed it on the first installation I did starting from Nemo, but haven't got it to work on the kickstarted image yet.
