Been tested the latest image

Worked: Calling, Internet connection by 3G or Wifi, Audio, Vibra, account able to login, Double tick wake screen etc.

Not work: Battery indication, camera, GPS, Jolla store (un-installable apps)

Bugs? Swipe right to dim screen, should be swipe down??

by the way, anyone tried install Persecute by chroot in harmattan?

What works:
Audio, haptics, bluetooth(a2dp also), wifi, doubletap unlock*, voicecalls*

What does not works:

camera, maybe somethin else...

*workaround exist, but we need help from nemo folks.

*What workaround:

1) systemd service(/etc/systemd/system/proximity-fix.service) what every boot execute
2) /usr/sbin/enable_prox(echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.2/i2c-2/2-0039/prox_enable)

I think should be better way to do that, we need someone who know how that should working.

Also, doubletap unlock may not work before you once per boot put finger on proximity sensor.

Tested, and sound works :)

Would be nice if your kickstart file was merged with vgrade's on github if not already done? :)

I have tried to reflash to factory since i messed up and after the moslo kernel was installed since the partition is different I am having issues reflash since there is a mismatch how can i fix this

Partition table mismatch (start=112672768, sum=104480768). You may want to use the no-preserve option or flash an erase image

thank you

Re: Porting Sailfish to N9 (or other)

finally a simple tutorial from Jolla Users:

SOURCE: http://www.jollausers.com/2013/12/sa...mini-tutorial/

Quote:

It has been confirmed that GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi and ‘Calling Functions’ are working!

Anyways here a little tutorial for The Curious Ones! (Thanks Mehran Nyk)

Remember this will not harm your Meego Harmattan (If done correctly). *Multi-Boot*!
You need to have Ubiboot Installed first
Remember you must already have made the OS Partition for this to work!

Press Ctrl+Alt+T in your linux distro to launch the Terminal
In a terminal type “sudo su” (this gives yo the superuser power)
Now you need to have the harmattan flasher
Head to the path of your zImage
Type this “flasher -k zImage -n initrd-moslo -l -b”
Now connect the phone.
It will bring a green screen, here popup the Alt_OS partition
If it has anything inside that partition just remove it.(You can use this command to do so: rm -rf /media/Alt_OS/*)
Now you need the Sailfish Os image!
Transfer it to your Alt_OS partition! (heres a command for that: time sudo tar –numeric-owner -xvf sailfishos_n9_1_0_0_5.tar.bz2 -C /media/Alt_OS/)
Now once the files have been transferred, type these commands:

sync;sync
umount /media/Alt_OS

Reboot!

Congratulation You Now have Sailfish OS!

Now i know everyone is asking for it, but chill guys.
A fully explained, made by noobs for noob tutorial is on its way!

And also this mini tutorial was made for people using linux, tutorials for windows and maybe Mac will also be coming soon!

Till then,

Re: Porting Sailfish to N9 (or other)

@mikecomputing
There is no kickstart config, these image build manual way from mer-core image and install sailfish packages on it. Its called "backup image" isnt it? I have no idea how do that with mic because of package conflicts which cannot be resolved by mic itself. In mic we also have BIG trouble with pulseaudio, and i have no idea how to fix.

I had a problem with repartitioning too on a 64gb N9 and comprehensive reset was the solution for me, see here.
