N9 Reboot Issue - Won't recognize the difference between power and usb
Hello Everyone,
So here is my issue with my N9. Last night out of nowhere, after installing no new programs or anything, out of nowhere my phone goes into a reboot loop. I power it off and then when I turn it on it goes to a dimly lit Nokia logo then shuts off, hit the power button again it does it again. So then I plugged into the charger and same thing, then I plugged into my computer it gave me the little USB symbol, but would reboot also. Then I plugged into my main charger and then it displayed the Nokia logo turned off then after a little bit the battery charging symbol came on. The phone turned on, but I was not able to accept incoming calls and the Phone app basically didn't work. Everything else did. So I powered off and it went back into the reboot loop again. Went ahead and flashed the phone and this is what I got. Sorry no clue how to post code boxes http://imgur.com/WlSrrs6 Looking at the error is my firmware version too old? Or is something else going on here? Edit*** Picture isn't showing up for me but http://imgur.com/WlSrrs6 Edit 2*** Ok I am thinking that my firmware version is too old, I cannot download Navifirm on my machine because of work security etc, does anyone have a mirror for a place where I can download the North American version of the latest firmware? |

also clean your usb port using a needle to gently scrach the pins and blow air hard in it . also look closely if something is fishy with the charger .

Does anyone have a site for the mirror of the .bin file?? I can't unpack a tar.gz without installing software on my machine that I am unable to.

Got the .bin file, and now I'm getting a reboot loop with the warning Install Authorized Operating System being displayed over and over, and using flasher isn't working now...just fails over and over any ideas?

Seems you have weak internet connection and downloaded broken file. Just redownload it again.

Welp looks like the flash memory is done for. This phone is dead. :-( RIP N9. A sad day for me.
