No, I have to think the architecture of a core php script for a server partition so it won't overload the server's cpu again...

Also, tell me this, did your brother recive the GDR2 update for his 8s? Is the storage issue somehow solved?

Hahaha my brother doesn't really care about phones/computers etc. and he doesn't really does updates on his phone...We are a little bit different :p

Well the only problem is that the phone is almost unusable. Think about this, we have 4GB storage okay? 2.2GB is the OS, 400MB is the apps, and there comes a folder called "OTHERS" that takes up over 1GB...

So, I am left with barely 30mb after a reboot, 10mb after using some basic apps, and 1-2mb after using internet apps.

Isn't he complaining about anything about that phone?

Well he has an 8gb sd card from his old phones, so I don't think that he really unterstood it :p
I didn't really like this phone because of WP and I have told him not to buy it, but he liked it because of the design....
Well my problems with wp(except the one that you are talking about) is that it doesn't have a file manager, and transfering files from phone to pc through usb can be a little pain because it seems a little bit slow to me...

That was one of the reasons I bought that phone, the design, N900 is great device (except hw faults) but it was too bulky. Second, I used Windows Mobile in the past, I had, and still have a HTC Diamond and a Xperia X1, and I said why not. Now I am stuck with this device, which I love. It's simple, fast, but that memory issue is just... just pissing me off!

Transfer is fine with me. And they do have a file manager, but it's not fully functional yet, they are still working on it.

I still wish I can make this phone purple... :(

Maybe there are some chinese houses with different colours?
I would say you to paint it, but if you haven't done it before, it is not a good idea believe me :p

Hahahahah I remember doing that when I was little with a SPV phone, I made it blue, and than painted my bike with the same spray paint.

I paid 10 euros on the original case, price without taxes... Chinese cases are just lame, I had one of those for my Galaxy, and it was just lame, didn't fit well, had problems with microphone/cables...

I had done this with a case of a psp (I had 2) :p
I bought before 2 weeks a white chinese case for my n900 and I can say that I had problems fitting the motherboard as well... but some small papers done the job :P

Well I have a problem with quality of products.

I bought my first N900, worked like charm until my little doggy played around the cables and when I got up from my desk I tripped on the cable and the USB port JUST BROKE... Well **** that, I'm going to get my second device, bought my second device, fixed the USB in place with lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of epoxy, so yeah, this time the USB was secured, after 2 weeks I got the stupid error on the screen that the modem is not accessible and the telephony is offline. **** that again, there was nobody to blame since both the phones were 2nd hand.

Then I got this phone, no contract, no nothing, 2 year warranty, and 1 year full insurance. Anything that happens to it I will get a new repacement, and now if something is not working I can shout to SOMEBODY... :) This phone is supposed to work, I don't care how, but it should work!
