Camera phone competition August 2013: "Life style of your city"
New theme for a new competiton that will hopefully get your ideas flowing!
It's all about the life style of your city. Imagine your everyday routes, just the things that repeat, or the very opposite, things that separate your city from the rest. Maybe put it like this - capture your city in just one shot and try to depict it to someone who didn't even know about your city. Forsagar picked this theme and I wish you all good light and good luck! Rules Photos must be taken during this month. Photos must be taken by the posting member. Photos must be taken with a camera phone. Users can change the entry only once. Users should add a link to the original photo with full EXIF data. And the most important, Have fun! Because here, we are many automobile lovers, and I think this image really defines the best my town. What did I used to take this picture? A HTC Desire HD, @8Megapixels. I hope you like it. |

I think mainly most people don't post here because the theme is too confusing or vague. I think it was great in theory, but not much people can have an interestjng idea for this.

I agree with panjgoori. The topic proved to be challenging, reflected in not enough entries. And of those submitted only a small fraction can be considered actually sticking to the subject matter. BTW why is TheoX's entry missing from the final list? Is it because he has been banned again?
I vote for #7. It happens to be panjgoori's entry but that is just a coincidence. |

I was too lazy to submit a macro photo for the first competition. Though, there is an attachment for your entertainment. There are at least four entries which could be considered (loosely) sticking to the subject matter. However, due to personal bias, I vote for sixth entry. Not to say that seventh isn't great... and second is quite interesting... glad to see there are mountain hikers around here... Best wishes. |
