Re: For Sale Nokia N950
I was just wondering. While it is debatable which is the greatest designed phone ever created (combining form and function, my vote would be on the n900) but, as fas as aesthetics goes, I've never seen a more beautiful phone than the N950. Do folks feel this way here. And who sculpted this design anyways. Is this designer famous (at least in phone design circles). This person should be given some kind of award for designing the N950! I hope he/she has the opportunity to design a follow up!

Re: For Sale Nokia N950
Never had it but why Nokia will reenter in the market, why not release the Lauta. Its finished in design and OS (Meego) i think. They have only to produce. Maybe make fusion with sailfish OS :D
I know. its only a dream |

Please post the number written on small "S4.0 HW1124 XXXX" sticker under the battery, or make a photo of it: http://n950.ru/images/179x_1.jpg |

I have never taken it apart. I don't have any Torx 4 screwdriver here to open it and check the sticker. If I manage to find one, I'll let you know. |

Re: For Sale Nokia N950
I do not recommend sharing your IMEI as Nokia will reveal who you are and theoretically may sue you for selling the prototype.
You should better share the photo of sticker under the battery with last number blurred or censored (see my example above) - that will make it harder to uncover your identity. |
Re: For Sale Nokia N950
I don't get why anybody would request a person to publicly display their serial numbers and whatnot publicly and you've not done the same yourself for the most part.
If you're genuinely curious, purchase it. Then you'd know. |

Re: For Sale Nokia N950
Is there actually any point in getting/keeping an N950 for development?
This is a serious question. |

One of the reasons why I wanted to get an N950 is personal interest, but I never found enough time to really get into development for this platform (the other reason is that it's a relic, as others mentioned above). Btw. 2 days left from my N950 auction, so if anyone is interested, please bid here: http://www.ebay.de/itm/132042020412 |

Re: For Sale Nokia N950
Last year I lost one more auction on n950, was playing with something about ~$400 and the competitor won with something about ~$410 lol (so this time I put €1000 to be sure, but still lost :D).
Guess what happened to that device? After a month it appeared on ebay again with the price about $1500 and shipping from India :D So I hope the current competitor bought the phone to use it or at least to store it as a relic, not for stupid reselling. |

Off topic:
Found a strange seller on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nokia-N950...AAAOSwurZZHD81 The funny thing is it comes with warranty :D First time I ever heard any "warranty" for N950... How can it be managed?:D |
Re: For Sale Nokia N950
I am also surprised by an amount of available devices.
A little bit less about the price... |

I got a message from them saying 8GB (as standard for model) & the best price they could do was 50AUD off (bank deposit), because it was a collectors phone. How did they get their hands on 20 of them? They are selling loads of Nokia models at crazy prices. |
