UKTUBE cannot download
 
Since yesterday, UKTUBE was unable to download from YOUTUBE. After video link passed, I can see the snapshot of the video, but the application halts at "initiating download".
Anyone experienced similar problem?
Is this youtube's problem? Please help me!

I had the same issue last night..I do not think its a youtube problem as downloading a .flv file off youtube on my laptop worked fine.

Is UK tube somehow connecting to a common server (and that server is down) that we do not know of? <<-- highly unlikely, but I'm just throwing it out there.

Seems like something has changed in the youtube page content. It's late now in helsinki, but i'll take a closer look at it in the morning.

I have had the same problem since yesterday evening?!!What's the problem there,even had a hard time even downloading uktube/ukmp yesterday

Noticed the same thing just now. Thanks very much for all your hard work, Urho! But try to enjoy your weekend and don't work too hard. Just speaking for myself, I think I can live without UKTUBE for a few days. :)

Hey guys,

thanks for letting me know of the uktube bug.

I've now released a bugfix version

It only fixes uktube bug in downloading youtube videos. Youtube had changed the way flash video is referred on the page and that had to be changed to uktube as well.

I just reloaded the deb, installed it and watching youtube videos worked just great (took some moloko videos - great stuff). What are you trying watch?
