@all who receive the phone, how long you have wait for status change from "in picking" to "Shipping" and how long it haves take from shipping status to receive the package ?

For me it was ~48 hours to change from "In Picking" to "Shipped".
I think actual time to receive the package depends on the available flights, in my case estimated delivery is ~24 hours after being shipped.
And there is NO status "Shipping".

PAID => In Picking => Shipped => Delivered

Hi sailors,

since my order (... 0015xx) has not yet been picked and I am waiting eagerly to get the Jolla into my hands, I wrote a small Python program that checks if your order status has been changed and sends you a mail if something happends. See the attached file for further information.

You can run it as a cronjob or run it locally from command line to check your status. Please modify credentials and email settings (I am connecting to local SMTP server, you may need to change that).

Or some people have misunderstood what the priority order means for them. For example it seems that Jolla first delivered 100e preorders for Finland in priority order, and 40e or 0e had to wait more.

Jolla has also publicly stated that there was some errors in shipping so for some people the priority order was not followed.

That can't be true because 100 euro pre-orders have also shipped late and second batch pre-orders have shipped before first batch pre-orders, no matter the price.

Again, we are guessing, because Jolla doesn't tell us - all we see are the results where first day, first batch pre-orders are still pending.

Jolla could just tell us and we wouldn't have to guess.:)

I'm starting to have some doubts about me playing Jolla on Christmas. If order 1500 hasn't been picked yet and I'm 3400. I really hoped I would get picked today.

Do NOT lose hope! It looks like only day is needed for delivery iin most of the cases, so if your device is shipped by Friday next week you WILL get it for Christmas! So you still have full 7 days and sailors seems to be working over weekends as well, so if we estimate 400 daily shipments - there IS plenty of time!

I take off on the 18th, for three weeks. delivery will be probably around that time.

So here is another poll:
where my new fully paid jolla phone will be spending its xmas?
1. Postoffice depot and then returned to finland after two weeks?
2. My neightbours house?
3. Sitting by my door mat where curious cats will pee over after sniffing sailfishy? Shall I be the proud owner of the first golden showered OTH? That would definitely be #unlike...

Thanks jolla care for automatic mail apologizing, you know we wont be mad at you for ever... but hey, hurry up and dispatch the bl00dy 200002211 order!

Since they deliver with FedEx, I'd assume that FedEx will schedule a reschedule with you after the first delivery has failed (the standard procedure). So you can redirect the shipment to your neighbour if you trust them not to play with the Jolla too much...

Some consolation to all those who disappointed that every Finn will have their own Jolla before the pre-orderers get theirs:

They tell about the delay of shipping to pre-orderers (old news to us) and show that the Jolla rack is empty in stores as well. That was in Kamppi but the rack was empty in another DNA store as well. So at least the test phones are still on the way and I doubt that there are that many available to general sales yet either.

My neightbour hates me, i cant trust him... he is the one who might pee on my poppy red oth... :mad:

I wonder if i can reschedule a delivery with Fed-Ex to a different country...

I just called Bulgarian FedEx - they said all is OK with the shipment, will be delivered to my home in Sofia tomorrow. I am thinking about writing to Jolla care anyway to double check?

I just spoke with the local FedEx customer service and they don't know why it's cancelled. They promised me they would look into it, but if all goes well, I should have it this afternoon :)

I phoned FedEx, and they said that they had received notification to cancel the delivery, and I had to contact the sender.

I've emailed care.


UPDATE: On my second call to FedEx, I've been told I can ignore the 'cancelled' status.

FedEx are always playing on my nerves! I'm 100% sure that the problem is in FedEx not in Jolla! :mad:

Looks like you are correct - I just phoned FedEx a second time and they said their internal system shows it as still awaiting customs clearence, and that I can ignore the 'cancelled' status :)
