Or maybe when you go past "In picking" you get a tracking number and you have something else to refresh, so the spreadsheet becomes unimportant ;-)

Perhaps, but I added a column in the sheet just to check that the status is up to date. For many, it's actually still in picking. :p

I think it's easier to pick items than to ship them, so they might have picked a lot of them when they had shipment issues, plus it was some good news for a lot of people when the shitstorm was starting on Twitter.

And it might be way easier and less risky to update to a "-ing" status than to a "-ed" status. Difference between a process and a real definite state. ;)

How it usually works with Itella/Posti is that you have one or couple of picking times a day. I doubt Itella has any problems taking thousands of phone boxes in pallets a day, let alone hundreds. Those phones hardly take any space.

At least a company I used to work for a summer job fetched around hundred of pallets of high end electronics every day just using Itella.

I failed my attempt since my post was too long for a summary, sure thing. I'm sorry you took it so personally.

As for the second part of your message, be sure I also use my time for more important things sometimes; you'd be surprised. Fortunately, people don't just extrapolate everyone's TMO post like you just did, otherwise I'm not sure you would feel that useful to society either.

I was not being aggressive at Jolla or anything. We have 70 pages of people discussing tracking numbers, I thought I was free to write something on what I seem to understand so far (with the risk of being wrong though).

Yeah, crowdsourcing data, update with your own number/status/dates so everyone can get a better idea how it is going and estimate time remaining

mikecomputing, you are certainly entitled to your opinion - as are others.

Ironically, your post that contributed absolutely nothing to the topic at hand, attacked a poster that spent considerable effort into "actually doing something for the world" - in this case the community here involved in Jolla pre-orders - by providing us with thought out analysis and information on how the Jolla pre-order delivery process works. What exactly was your contribution?

What you did there, too, involved a classic fallacy of relative privation - an attempt at diminish or silence a view you found unpleasant by invoking some irrelevant higher calling that (no matter how important in its own right), had no relevance or importance within the context of "Jolla tracking numbers". In this case you used pregnant girls as a way to silence opposing views on Jolla pre-orders.

So, as we are entitled to our opinions, I would rather see more posts like Kabouik's in this thread than the likes of yours.

The sorting by small order ID Nr. is bullsh*t. better is it with The complet ID Nr, because The 100000 Nr are than on The top, and its better to See witch last order ID arrive The package.

We know that Itella has weekend pickups but Jolla is using Itella only for Finland. It is FexEd for international shipments. I don't know if FedEx has weekend pickups.

I kind of agree... if you are searching for your order, just control+f. The only reason we are sorting is because some people believe that the order number is related to the picking priority, which isn't necessarily true. I don't think even Jolla knows whether that's true.

Also, Google isn't sorting anything "automatically", no wonder M$ still succeeds in the office suite business. Google: there are a few books written by this dude Knuth, you can learn how to sort there. Start with bubble sort first.

Edit: Sorry if I got to rude.

If you had "enough of it" doesn't give you any right to shut up anybody. As if you "ran/whining" enough for others not getting device and waiting can be "enough". So basically you doing yourself same thing you ask others not to do. You "whine/rant about whining/rants".

I think there is no problem of saying that there is problem and there is no problem to complain. I know they try their best and kudos to them and i know things are changing. But telling it's like "tomorrow you can have cancer". That makes NO SENSE. Let's say someone rub you or beat you up and you go to police and they would say to you "sh*t happens, you could have cancer instead, so you got lucky".

So yes people are complaining over and over again, and it's including me, but there is reason and it's logical. And yes lately it was improved with providing information and official letter From Jolla, which explains that there are problems, but before that people were on blind, as well as now they just know they try their best, but still no idea how many and what's order and it;s natural that people that do not have any information little bit nervous.

And mostly interesting — if that bothers you sooooooo much, why you keep getting back to this thread? Save your energy and nerves and just don't visit thread where you 100% know people would act you don't like. But maybe you like to shut others off, so you come back here everytime ?

As long as FedEx delivers my Jolla's and United Airlines my girlfriend before Monday in a week, I'll have a really happy Christmas :)

It's truly crazy to be so inpatient or even upset while waiting for a phone (yes it's Jolla, but still JUST a phone). Kinda feels like those Apple fanboys/girls who sleep in front of an Apple store to get the newest iDevice and usually I make fun of them.

But hey, let's be crazy for once. Some people already think I'm crazy for ordering a phone which didn't exist back in May... (or still using a Nokia N9 :P).

My delivery status is still on "Paid" - despite Euro 100 option, pre-order on first chance and payment on first possible day - unfortunately in the afternoon because I didn't have the possibility to do so earlier.

I see it as part of the Jolla adventure... and it wouldn't be an adventure if everything was predictable. So enjoy those moments and appreciate that we people here have no bigger problems :)
