#3272 just arrived at my doorstep (2nd wave Sep 19th from Finland)

Jeiii!!!!!!!! And exactly 3 months to the day after pre-order.

I am sorry that i got mine before some of you 1st pre-order guys (espec. in Norway and Switzerland).

one happy sailor will now unpack/install:D

Any FedEx flights with Jollas on board leaving Vantaa this evening? 2849 is still in picking and can't be tracked on FedEx :confused:

That wasn't my point. My point was: people don't complain equally about different issues. Pre-order order failing would likely get more complaints than "some other thing" you mentioned.

I'm not sure Jolla has apologized or even acknowledged missing the pre-order order in mailing order. They just apologized the delay and start of DNA sales, and even there their CEO took it back by saying people just can't be pleased.

It didn't sound like it. It sounded like you think people will complain equal amount no matter what Jolla does. I don't agree with such ideas.

Just got an e-mail from Jolla that my Jolla is still waiting for me:

"Hi,

We noticed that you still haven’t ordered your Jolla, and we know that you’ve been waiting for a while to get one!

To get your Jolla with the 100€ discount that you’re entitled to, log in to the Jolla Shop using your email address and the password* you received from us ... "

The funny thing is that I already ordered and paid my Jolla on 28th november. Tried the coupon code and I actually could buy another Jolla for 300€. Sent a mail to care@jolla.com that they should stop fooling around.

According to Fedex tracking my Jolla has been delivered to my neighbors - excellent! And they picked up the parcel at 4pm yesterday - pretty fast! (25xx to Germany, 0 Euro)

Are you sure that he took it back? At least I don't agree on that interpretation of the article. Maybe you should ask him? Then you wouldn't need to guess.

Okay, but can you tell who was the processing agent? Paypal? Paytrail/Suomen Verkkomaksut? Or some other?

When I made the order Paytrail was the only option, during preorder I paid with paypal.

There was Paypal option at the opening of Jolla Shop but it was removed after a few days due some problems.

Holly molly, my status just changed to 'In Picking'. First wave preorder, paid for it almost before the deadline (CC problems) on 2nd Dec, Order ID #200004121, shipping to the Nederlands. :eek:

Still no shipping email and nothing shows up on FedEx tracking (tried both, postal code with and without the letters), tho :(

There still might be a chance for delivery 'til early Monday morning so I won't have to wait for 2+ months to finally get my hands on it. *fingers crossed*

Store is up and running and it have a coupon-button. Anyone knows if jolla planning to have a Dev-discount? If user submit an application you can buy jolla with discount. 199 Euro or similar. Do they excpect that we will be Beta testers of their phone and SDK plus creating applications on our own time and everything for free?

I don't like the smell of this.

This makes me think that they just want to wait until all outside-EU preorders are processed before shipping them out as one big bunch. That would explain why norweigan and swiss orders in low numbers (below 500) have skipped shipping, while still being "in picking" all this time.

I still cannot believe it. Status changed to "In Picking". I think I am too optimistic thinking that it will arrive tomorrow before I go on vacation...:confused::confused:

It looks like that... I hope now that numbers >500 are being "picked", delivery to Norway & Switzerland starts fast. Next question will be the taxes/customs.

As already mentioned by someone else here - when I log into store now, I can order a device for Euro 321.70, which is about 20% cheaper (I guess Euro 399 without the taxes). So I wonder how this will work out for us pre-orderers since we probably pay taxes twice when the parcel enters a non EU-country. But yeah, one after another ;)

Well my order has always been 321.70 without shipping cost. So i asume i haven't payed taxes at this moment.

Hmm ok. Mine seems different despite saying "0" at Taxes. Or do I miss something? (one is only Euro 299 because I paid Euro 100 in May)

guys just get-over-it. you're not gonna get it before Christmas, and your gonna have to find something else to be happy about. I've been hoping and obsessing a bit too for a while but, still I find it hard to believe this thread cracked the 1000 posts mark. What are you still expecting to hear from Jolla? They're going as fast as they reasonably can, the phones are getting shipped, somewill get it on time, some a bit later (including me), Jolla is very sorry. end of story.

Roughly about 26h from in picking to shipped, then to Itella and if I remember it right I got the tracking code for it yesterday evening around 9pm, at that time it was received at the Itella logistic center. Then today around 11 am tracking info said that the packet is ready for pickup at my local post office.

Yep. A pity they didn't manage to give it to us before going on Christmas holidays. Quite unfortunate I'd say.
