In Norway you pay duty tax before you're handed the parcel, at least if the Jolla delivery is done the same way as parcels from other EU countries.
The delivery driver will bring a handheld terminal to collect... |

I'm living in France and Jolla shipped my phone through Fedex. Unfortunately they did a mistake and gave me an invalid Fedex tracking number: "7.97383E+11" ; that looks like the number was copy-pasted to some Excel sheet where some digits were removed and replaced by this "exponent+11". Now Fedex can't deliver my device until I give them some explanations about how to reach my door. The drama came when I called them and they asked for my Fedex tracking number, which I don't have! I tried to get my tracking number from the "Track by reference" tab on Fedex website. But it says: not found. Unlucky me. I posted a ticket to Jolla care for them to retrieve my Fedex number. It's been 10 days now, no news. So here I am, waiting... |

It's so frustrating to know that my device is in Fedex's hand and they do really want to deliver it, but they just can't because of this 7.97383E+11 tracking number :(.

Maybe you should try to get help from Jolla care by mentioning your order number?
I'm pretty sure they have the correct tracking number somewhere.... |

On another hand, I've contacted Jolla support about this, they opened a ticket for me on ZenDesk. But still no reply after 12 days. Jolla's shipment status is still "Shipped". I believe if I wait long enough, the device will get back to Jolla and then they can try again. |

My status has been paid till yesterday. Talked to one of the Jolla guys about it, he went today and asked them to see what's happening. He came back and I opened the order page now it's "In Picking". :D
Jukka told me that since the destination is set to Sweden it'll likely ship in few days. :D |

Been following my phone on fedex page since it was shipped on 23/12. It's gone from Finland via France and has been in Oslo, Norway since the 27th. Still says estimated delivery 3/1-14, but normal mail would have used a day getting from Oslo to where I live.
Worst thing about it is I have been working lazy night shifts in Oslo since Christmas eve and could probably called Fedex to reroute it to my work place in stead of waiting for what they call "local agent" to deliver it where I live far out in the countryside. I could have had so much time playing with it had I not been too stupid to think of that option before. |

Got an estimated delivery on Monday 6/1 whilst the package has been stuck in Trondheim, Norway since 30/12. It's a 10 hour drive from Trondheim to Bodø, its destination :(. |

They came back from Jolla Care within 24 hours confirming the change had been done. Since then there has been nothing but disappointments on my part with Jolla. In addition to the shipping delays I've harped on about in this thread I've yet to receive ANY word back from Jolla Care regarding the overpayment I've been forced to do (question asked 19/12 by email to Jolla Care). Whilst I now know how to handle the overpayment/VAT issue, it's ONLY because I follow this tread @ TMO. Lack of manpower on Jollas part or not - I still feel LIKE THE LAST ONE. |

To be completely honest with you, they did not reply until I talked to the Jolla guys in my friend list, they helped me out and told them to reply. But if I wanna tell you about my friends' situations, still, you're in a better situation than them. I just want you to know that your case isn't the worst. I'm kinda worried more about my friends than I should be about myself. Good luck anyway!

I'm aware there are people like yourself that are still waiting for the Jphone at various stages prior to shipping confirmation and I really feel for you all. I'm annoyed, as I'm sure you already know, that I put up the maximum pledge sum up early to get my Jphone. Backed by plenty of promises from Jolla they've yet to deliver, even if my particular device should be around the corner. I'm not expecting the limited edition TOH I signed up for either since these seem to have run out - queue yet another apology from Jolla :( |

I don't use Twitter nor Facebook, can't agree to their T&Cs.
I just received an SMS that a parcel has been loaded on a van to be delivered today, that's 3 days (2 working ones) faster than estimated by FedEx in my case - finally some good news :). The delivery is being done by Bring (bring.no) which is the courier arm of the incumbent Norwegian Postal service, similar to the Parcelforce service from Royal Mail in the UK. This increases the chance that I get to pay the Norwegian VAT @25% before I'm handed the parcel..... |
