Between the white and black icon, I prefer the white icon. We don't see the background of the icon when it is black. Or put an outline (white, red, blue or green).

I have uploaded a base icon svg to github: sfos-baseicon

You can change the clipped corners by adding/removing classes to the svg element (text editor or inkscape).
An example how to create .png files with different sizes from an svg with inkscape on linux easily is included in the readme.

The dimensions have been taken from the SFOS example svg, so it's 86px with that "0.3px" padding.

It might not be for everyone, but if it helps someone else but me… it's already worth it.

For default apps (note, people etc...) it have 2 paths:
86x86
128x128
For some installed apps, I see icons in some folders for the same app... For example for harbour-encode, harbour-sailfishreboot, harbour-situations2application etc... I see them inside this folders:
I don't know why them in 4 diff places...

For some other like harbour-videoPlayer, harbour-webpirate, harbour-ytplayer I see them only inside:
I also use this path for my apps and on the homescreen I don't see any differences...

Thank you! I want to adjust the icons to the same size. Need to prepare 128x128s for the tablet.

According to Jolla Harbour FAQ, it's supposed for different device and resolution, "This is needed for showing the best possible icon on different devices with different screen sizes and resolutions. If there is no icon with the appropriate size, the closest one is selected and scaled to fit the UI, which in case of upscaling can lead to rather ugly results."

BTW, in the folder of z1.5 you mentioned, I found some icons which changed design or not included on the phone. :)

About Android apps on Sailfish, what do you think about the best APK store available?
I recently discovered APKPure. I think it's much better that Aptoide.
This last one proposes outdated applications if we use only the Jolla's repository. And I don't know if we can really trust to others repositories.

The advantage of APKPure: it's some kind of mirror of the official Google Play Store but where we don't need any registrations.

I would like to know if some other kind of store like that exist?
If some users use them? And what they think about?

Made a proper* SFOS style pack to cover Android launchers icons, plan to integrate with Fra's theme engine, 86x86 for phone and 128x128 for tablet. (And another Harmattan one in the future. :) )
