I have free account and registered in Mitäkuuluu.. No problems.. I even tried deleting that account and registered again in Mitäkuuluu, working great!

Is this last Mitakuuluu update related to the Sailfish update?
I mean is it advisable to upgrade Mitakuuluu without updating Sailfish?

Hi i upgraded to latest Mitakuuluu version 8.15 everything went well.. i,m not running the latest Sailfish update... You can find information here https://github.com/CODeRUS/mitakuuluu2/issues/278... But DO BE AWARE my advise is if your not having problems or banned keep using the same version...

I think it's best that we all wait and see where this is heading... Because i PERSONALLY am not intending to use official Whatsapp client ever !! so please lets not raise much attention towards ourselves (unofficial users)...

to avoid banning for now you need to register using android whatsapp and import account to mitakuuluu, without using registration in mitakuuluu itself.

I also registered through Mitakuuluu and never got banned. I also have never paid anything from whatsapp usage.

I did, however, change to using Android side official whatsapp two days ago. Would love to go back to Mitakuuluu, but for some reason I also started to get extreme lagging in Mitakuuluu after the lates mitakuuluu update. I have not updated the Sailfish OS to uitukka
